In this post I will show you some of the step I took to make my own backdrop for my food photography.

What do you need?

§ 8 x wood planks (1000x80x15)

§ 3 x wood planks (600x80x15)

§ 50 x 25mm wood screws

§ Drill

§ Sanding paper

§ Paint brush

§ 2 colours of paint

Steps:

1. Place the longer planks next to each other.

2. Using the screws screw the shorter planks to the longer planks one on each side an in the middle.

3. Paint three (3) layers of the first colour of paint.

4. Paint three (3) layer of the second colour of paint.

5. Using the sanding paper take of some of the second colour of paint to show here and there the first colour.

And there you have your own wooden table top to take some amazing photographs. Remember you can always just add another layer of paint for the next photo you do not have to start all over.
