It is fun to shoot and get you out of the house exploring the neighbourhood.
Equipment:
§ Camera
§ Tripod
§ Trigger
§ Wide angle lens
Firstly you need to be there early!!! An hour before the sun set/rise.

Setup:
So when you are there early.
1. Find the best angle to shoot the building (Find something nice).
2. Setup your camera on a tripod with the trigger.
3. Find your focus on auto focus and switch to manual mode when happy with focus.
4. Get the correct exposure (sky and building exposure may differ so expose for both).
5. Camera settings: ISO-100 – 400, Aperture-F8 – F16, Shutter speed- adjust accordingly.
6. Start shooting every 10 min until happy with the effect.
Side notes:
§ The reasons for shooting so early:
1. Less contrast so easier to manage.
2. More dramatic sky at sun set/ rise.
3. Shooting in the golden hour so will be able to get very saturated blue skies.
§ Shoot a building with lights on it will be easier to balance out exposure for the building and sky.
§ You can get creative and do some painting with light.
§ A tilt-shift lens is the ideal to have less distortion (distortion can be fixed in Photoshop)
